Video Game Banned In Military Bases

The latest version of Medal of Honor – an 11-year old video game – is currently being banned from the almost 350 military base exchange shops and GameStop stores. The said video game – set in modern Afghanistan – features 140,000 U.S. and NATO troops fighting the Taliban. The game allows a player to play the role of a Taliban member.
U.S. Military officials made the decision after finding the video game sensitive "to the life-and-death scenarios this product presents as entertainment". The video game will likewise be banned in over 100 exchange shops of the Navy, which according to its spokesperson will be done "out of respect for the men and women serving and their families".
Even British Defense Secretary Liam Fox called the video game a "tasteless product". Meanwhile, Electronic Arts have not expressed any comments, but has been quoted in an earlier interview saying: "Most of us have been doing this since we were 7; someone plays cop, someone must be robber."
